The Rosengarten


The Rosengarten (Rose Garden) as the setting of LIVA summer theater, cabaret and musical performances offers a wide range of possibilities to experience culture from May to August. The Rosengarten is also available for rental as a venue for events, presentations, exhibitions, parties, etc. set amidst this unique, sumptuous ambience.

Guests enter the Rosengarten via a spacious stairway leading up to the eye-catching Treppenturm, a steel tube construction topped by pyramid-shaped tents. Spacious stairways lead down to the catering area and the event tent.

The Rosengarten, Linz’s new event venue atop Pöstlingberg, features over 3,000 m2 of space.

High above the rooftops of Linz and affording spectacular views of the cityscape, carefully tended gravel paths set amidst tastefully designed gardens lead to the event tent. The catering area is also covered by a pyramid-shaped tent.

The landscape architecture has carefully preserved the Rosengarten’s pond that’s edged with reeds and dotted with waterlilies.

Stage your presentation, party, exhibit or event above the rooftops of Linz: the Rosengarten atop Pöstlingberg features a one-of-a-kind ambience.






Using public transportation to get to the Rosengarten

Take the Pöstlingbergbahn from the Linzer Hauptplatz
(see departing-times at the station) to the Pöstlingberg.
