Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is the task of Austrian health policy to protect the population as best as possible from the dangers of the ongoing Corona pandemic. As you have certainly gathered from the current announcements of the federal government and the district administration of Linz, the first opening steps for art and culture can now also be taken as the vaccination programme progresses. The LIVA Linzer Veranstaltungsgesellschaft welcomes this decision and will resume current event operations in all its venues as soon as possible from 19 May in accordance with the official requirements.
The top priority of LIVA as a leading institution and premium provider of first-class live events remains the safety of its visitors. The core of this is the comprehensive security concept in LIVA's venues, which was successfully established last year as the first among Austrian cultural organisations. In addition, the LIVA's performance activities are ideally complemented in the summer by numerous outdoor events, such as the top-class Brucknerhaus serenades, the new LINZ AG "FrischLuft" stage at the Posthof, the popular Kuddelmuddel summer workshops for children and young people, or the diverse opportunities around the LIVA sports parks Lissfeld, Pichling and Auwiesen.
"We have done an enormous amount of preparatory work in the past weeks with a comprehensive safety concept, investments in new infrastructure and an exciting summer programme and are well prepared for the long-awaited opening from the Brucknerhaus to the Posthof, in the Kuddelmuddel children's cultural centre and also in the LIVA sports facilities. I am extremely pleased that we are once again able to contribute such necessary, enriching encounters and experiences for our society with our cultural and sporting offerings, and I cordially invite our audience to join us." (Dietmar Kerschbaum, artistic director of LIVA, artistic director of the Brucknerhaus)
For continuously updated information on the individual events, please refer to the respective program pages on the homepages of the LIVA houses (Brucknerhaus, Posthof, Kuddelmuddel, LIVA Sport). The Service Center in the Brucknerhaus is now open again Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in person and by telephone on 0732 / 775230 or by e-mail to email@example.com. We are looking forward to your visit!
The management of LIVA continues to be in constant contact with the authorities in order to be able to take immediate and correct action in the event of measures being necessary at short notice. For maximum safety and a carefree visit to concerts and events at the Brucknerhaus Linz, we have summarized the following information for you.
All events take place in front of numbered seats and reduced hall seating capacity, so that a minimum distance of one to one and a half meters is guaranteed between each visitor - unless the event is attended as a group. To avoid congestion and stress, hall admission will uniformly begin one hour prior to the start of the event. A valid certificate (tested negative, recovered or vaccinated) and an FFP2 mask must be presented at the entrance. All cleaning and steward personnel have been increased to ensure maximum hygiene throughout the Brucknerhaus Linz. Breaks - if necessary - will be as short as possible. In the spirit of contact tracing, the basic customer data (name, address, telephone number/email address) of all visitors will be registered when tickets are purchased.
Proof of an infection that has occurred and is currently expired - e.g. by means of segregation notice - must not be older than 6 months.
If you feel ill, if there is a suspicion of infection and/or if you have had contact with a positive person in the last 14 days, we must urge you to stay away from the event.
Admission to the Brucknerhaus Linz and to the respective concert hall is uniformly one hour before the start of the event. To avoid congestion and stress, please arrive early.
All visitors must have left the Brucknerhaus Linz by 10:00 p.m. at the latest; the events will end on time in accordance with this requirement of the Austrian federal government. We kindly ask you to support us in adhering to this time limit.
The ventilation systems in the entire house will be operated at maximum capacity with 100% permanent fresh air in order to ensure the removal of aerosols as best as possible. The complete air volume is exchanged with fresh air at least 3 times per hour.
We ask for your understanding that we are currently not yet able to offer break catering in the foyers. However, the BRUCKNER'S restaurant in the Brucknerhaus Linz will be open again from May 19, 2021.
