The pinnacle of Europe’s brass band scene will come to Linz in 2026.

From 20 to 26 April 2026, the 47th European Brass Band Championships (EBBC 2026) will take place at the Brucknerhaus Linz. Around 1,000 musicians from across Europe will transform the city into an international hub of the brass band world during these days.

A total of 36 renowned brass bands will compete in a series of high-profile contests and accompanying concerts. The programme is further enriched by the 10th European Soloist Competition, showcasing outstanding solo performers, and by the European Youth Brass Band, which brings together young elite musicians from all over Europe.

Additional formats such as the Brass Mile and numerous concerts throughout the region extend the festival beyond the Brucknerhaus, firmly embedding EBBC 2026 in the cultural life of Upper Austria.
