Ceremonial opening of the Bruckner Year 2024
Now it begins!
The New Year's Concert with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz under its principal conductor Markus Poschner at the Brucknerhaus Linz is a good old tradition. In this country, however, tradition and innovation often go hand in hand. That is why this concert celebrates not only the local jubilarian Anton Bruckner, but also Smetana, Janáček, Schönberg and Ives, all of whom are celebrating round birthdays. The anniversary year will be officially opened with a dance programme of a special kind.
