Project Forensics ("Spurensicherung")

Otmar Wallenta tries to save old manuscripts and photos from annihilation in his project.He hands over historically valuable documents to the state archives and museums for historical research and 'edits' textual rather insignificant or only fragmentarily preserved manuscripts with graphics and painting.For the exhibition Bruckner and the women, he exceptionally uses reproductions of the autographic scores of Anton Bruckner, which can be distinguished by a black framing of the rest of the works on originals.

The exhibition is open until October 9th.It is exhibited in the Middle Hall and in the foyer of the Middle Hall. 

Afterwards, the concert Wind Symphonies On Historical Instruments of the International Bruckner Festival Linz 2019 takes place in the Middle Hall. The Calamus Consort presents works for wind instruments by Johann Christian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Gaetano Donizetti on historical instruments.
